Show your store in Outfit Lens

Outfit Lens is a free Chrome extension and ChatGPT app. A shopper shares a photo of an outfit, and we show similar products from stores. We'd like to include your store. It's free for 60 days, and we ask for your written OK first.

What shoppers see

A result is a card with your product photo, price and store or brand name. It links to the product page on your site. Stores can't pay for placement. Results are ordered mainly by visual similarity. Items that don't ship to the shopper's country or aren't in their language are moved lower.

We can't say how often your products will show. At this stage, expect only a few clicks a week for a typical store.

Your photos and links

In the ChatGPT app, our server fetches the photo from your image server and passes it on unchanged. You may see the user agent "OutfitLens/2.0" in your logs. In the Chrome extension, the shopper's browser loads the photo directly, not through our server. For image CDNs such as Shopify's, we only add a size parameter to the URL.

We don't edit the image file. The card frame crops the edges on screen. In the extension, the store name, price and a save (heart) button sit on top of the photo. If a shopper saves a product, a small copy (up to 128 px) stays in that shopper's browser as an offline fallback. It isn't sent to us.

Showing a card doesn't open your link. It opens only when the shopper clicks the card. We show products only inside the extension and the ChatGPT app, not on our website, in ads or with coupon codes.

Cost, and what happens after 60 days

It's free for you for 60 days. After that, if you open an affiliate program (for example on Refersion), we could switch to commission links. If you don't, we'll take your products down. We never take money for placement.

If you already run an affiliate program (Refersion, ShareASale, Impact or similar), tell us and we'll apply there instead.

How to join

  1. Email contact@outfitlens.com and say that we may show your products as described on this page.
  2. Send a product feed we can keep up to date. A Google Merchant Center feed URL or the public feed URL from your feed app works. You can also tell us we may read your public Shopify products.json.

We won't read your product data until you reply. Before anything goes live, we'll send you a sample link to check.

How to leave

Email us any time. We'll remove your products and photos promptly.
